The kitchen waste disposal and resource utilization project of Yuncheng City is located in the eco-environmental Protection Industrial Park of Yuncheng City. The whole eco-industrial park is located in the south of Wenjiazhuang Village, Miaoqian Town, Xia County, southeast of Yuncheng City, and on the west side of G209 National Highway. The total planned land area is about 929.43 mu, among which the construction area of this project is about 50 mu. It can handle 200 tons of kitchen waste and 15 tons of cooking oil per day.

The project will build a comprehensive set of high-standard and high-quality harmless resource utilization facilities, including collection and transportation system, pretreatment system, anaerobic digestion system, biogas purification and utilization system, biogas dewatering system, odor treatment system and supporting works, as well as sewage treatment system, fire protection system and production and domestic water system and the adjacent domestic waste incineration power generation project.

After the project is completed and put into operation, it will realize the harmless, reduced and resource treatment of food and kitchen waste in Yuncheng city center, Yuncheng Economic and Technological Development Zone, Xia County City and Pinglu County city. This is one of the important links to promote green development and lifestyle, and improve the quality of the city.
