Project background

The control work of Honggangyong and Shiluoyong belongs to the comprehensive regulation project of Guipan seawater system. As a professional subcontractor of the Guipan Sea water system comprehensive regulation project, Welly Environmental Protection Group undertook the ecological restoration subproject of the entire water system regulation project. The subproject of ecological restoration mainly includes 14 river surges, the cumulative length of which is about 25 kilometers. The management goal of the project is to eliminate black and odorous water bodies after the completion of the project, and the water quality basically meets the Category V water standard of the "Surface water Environmental Quality Standard (GB3838-2002)" (spatio-temporal distribution of 75%). The ecological restoration and treatment project has officially started construction since June 2018, and the treatment of all black and odorous water bodies will be completed in August 2020, and the acceptance of the project will be applied in the near future. 

Solution

01 Powerful aeration oxygenation system to achieve rapid water purification. Through the new PVDF-MABR enhanced coupled biofilm reactor technology and nano-submerged microporous aeration technology, the dissolved oxygen level of the river can be rapidly improved, providing a good environment for the survival of microorganisms, so as to exert the rapid and effective purification of the water body by microorganisms.

02 Long-term sediment repair system, effectively inhibit pollution release. By adding ecological sediment purification agent, the sediment mineralization of river channel can inhibit the release of pollutants such as N and P, and effectively control the internal pollution.

03 We will rebuild the ecosystem and strengthen the capacity of water bodies to absorb pollution and purify themselves. A good ecosystem was constructed by combining the technology of composite microbial agent with the technology of underwater suspended micro-biological eco-base. The original aquatic ecosystem was restored through the synergistic effect of plants and microorganisms through the addition of composite microbial inoculants and the submerged suspended microbiological ecological base as an effective carrier for microbial growth.

04 Reasonable planning of the overall landscape system to build a harmonious water ecological environment. Surface aeration system, ecological slope protection technology and submerged plants purify water quality while improving the overall landscape effect. In view of the lack of landscape effect of river, landscape surface aeration system, four seasons of emerging plant sightseeing belt, ecological vegetation blanket and submerged plant purification area are used to greatly improve the landscape effect.

Project significance

The Eco-restoration project of Guipan Sea water system is the first river management project of Welley Environmental Protection Group in Guangdong. With the steady progress of the project, the ecological restoration and management project has gradually entered the acceptance stage. The implementation of the ecological restoration project not only solved the problem of black and smelly water quality of the river intakes in Shunde area, improved the ecological environment on both sides of the river, contributed to the sustainable economic development of Shunde area, but also laid a solid foundation for the Group to open the river management market in Guangdong region.
