Combined with the operation experience of the first phase of the project, fully considering the characteristics and treatment difficulties of kitchen waste, the second phase of the project adopts the terminal disposal process of "mechanical pretreatment + anaerobic fermentation + biogas power generation + sewage treatment + deodorization". The process can reduce solid slag, wastewater, odor and other pollutants in the disposal process. The organic matter in kitchen waste was fully and effectively separated and the resource utilization was carried out, and the maximum resource recovery of grease in kitchen waste was realized.

At present, thirty pure electric kitchen waste collection trucks of Xi 'an Velli shuttle through the streets and alleys of Xi 'an and Xixian New District every day, transporting the food and kitchen waste from contracted waste production units to here. After weighing and weighing, food and kitchen waste is treated by pretreatment, anaerobic fermentation, biogas power generation, etc., which truly realizes the harmfulness, reduction and resource utilization of food and kitchen waste.

Xi 'an kitchen waste treatment project as the fourth batch of national pilot city projects, in the municipal Party committee, the correct leadership of the municipal government, leading cadres and staff at all levels and participating units to work together to put into operation the next phase of the project smoothly. It marks that the first and second phase of Xi 'an kitchen waste treatment project is fully put into operation. After the second phase is put into operation at full capacity, the annual average annual treatment of kitchen waste is about 146,000 tons, about 7,200 tons of cooking oil, the annual output of swamp is about 11.6 million square meters, the annual electricity generation is about 12 million KWH, and the annual emission reduction is about 12,000 tons of greenhouse gases, equivalent to planting 500,000 trees.
