Project background
Inner Mongolia Youran Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. is a comprehensive animal husbandry enterprise, formerly known as Inner Mongolia Yili Animal Husbandry Development Co., LTD., is the world's largest provider of high-quality raw milk and China's largest ruminant feed enterprise. Among them, the Yuran Pingyin Project is the first 10,000-head dairy cattle breeding demonstration ranch invested by Yuran in Shandong, with a total investment of nearly 500 million yuan. The farm covers an area of about 1,700 mu, the breeding scale is 10,000 head, and the average annual milk production is about 80,000 tons. It is a modern comprehensive ranch integrating fresh milk production, breeding of good breed cows, high quality forage planting, science and technology training and sightseeing experience tourism.
Yuran Pingyin Project is located in Yuran Ranch, Pingyin County, Jinan City, Shandong Province. It is a project that takes environmental protection as the basis and environmental capacity as the premise to carry out industrial layout, and transform cow manure waste into treasure in order to realize green organic cycle.
How to turn cow manure into waste and turn misplaced "garbage" into usable resources? These questions can be answered in the Yuran Pingyin project. Biogas power generation is a favorable weapon to turn "garbage" into resources. Biogas power generation is a biogas utilization technology that appears with the continuous development of large-scale biogas project construction and comprehensive utilization of biogas. It uses biogas generated by anaerobic fermentation treatment for biogas generators, and is equipped with comprehensive power generation devices to generate electric energy and heat energy, which is a widely distributed and inexpensive distributed energy.

01Preprocessing unit
Youran Pingyin Project takes cow manure and urine and other waste produced by Youran Animal Husbandry Co., LTD. 's newly-built Wan Tou ranch as raw materials, and adopts the technical route of raw material pretreatment + medium temperature anaerobic fermentation + three-marsh comprehensive utilization process. The treatment process is mainly divided into pretreatment unit, anaerobic fermentation and biogas purification unit and fermentation liquid treatment unit.

02Anaerobic fermentation and biogas purification unit
The pretreatment unit will separate the different properties of each raw material treatment, including hydraulic sieve, septic tank, lifting tank, homogenizing tank, etc.
Cow feces and bed bedding materials are transported to the septic tank of this project. Considering that there will be a certain amount of impurities mixed with cow feces and bed bedding materials, multi-stage sand removal process is adopted to remove the impurities. After the initial screening of spray water and milk hall water by hydraulic screen, the separated residue enters the septic tank, and the remaining dilute liquid enters the biogas slurry tank directly.
Anaerobic fermenter
Biogas produced by anaerobic fermentation needs to be desulphurized and dehydrated before entering the cogeneration and boiler unit. This project selects biological desulfurization as the main process to purify and remove hydrogen sulfide and water in the biogas after anaerobic fermentation. The desulfurization efficiency is high, the investment is low, the operation cost is low, the land area is small, and no pollutants are generated.
In this project, a double-film dry gas storage tank is used to store the purified biogas. The gas storage tank can resist ultraviolet light, leak proof, strong tensile strength, and the applicable temperature is -30~60℃. Small footprint, low installation investment, short construction period.

After the fermentation liquid after anaerobic fermentation is separated by solid and liquid, the biogas slurry enters the biogas slurry storage unit (biogas slurry tank), and the biogas residue enters the biogas slurry utilization unit.

Achievement
In view of the problem that cow manure contains various impurities, the multi-stage sand removal process is adopted in the pretreatment stage of this project to reduce the sand and other impurities entering the subsequent anaerobic fermentation system, which helps to protect the stable operation of subsequent equipment. Anaerobic anaerobic fermentation process with high concentration and efficiency, high conversion efficiency, the daily output of biogas is about 14,000 cubic meters, equivalent to 1.4 square meters of biogas per cow, the anaerobic process can also effectively kill pathogenic bacteria, conducive to the subsequent production of biogas residue bedding; The biogas produced by fermentation is desulfurized and purified for the cogeneration generator set and boiler, and the generated electricity is for the plant's own use or grid-connected sales, and the heat energy is used for the heating of the anaerobic system.
The biogas residue after anaerobic fermentation is used to produce healthy organic bedding material, which can not only improve the comfort of bed, improve the milk production performance of cows, but also reduce the breeding cost. The project can produce 30 to 40 tons of cow mattress material per day. In addition, the treated biogas slurry enters the biogas slurry pond and is used as biogas slurry fertilizer to provide high-quality organic fertilizer for the vegetable industry in Xiaozhi Town, and better allow the surrounding planting and breeding farmers to enjoy the convenience brought by new energy.
Significance
At present, Youran Pingyin Project has developed into a local benchmark large-scale dairy cattle breeding demonstration ranch. By taking biogas project as the hub, cow dung waste is transformed into treasure, transforming into energy, fertilizer and bedding, optimizing the breeding structure, reducing the cost of pasture breeding, promoting the utilization of cow dung waste as resources, and forming an organic green cycle.
